The solution to this error is to "Login As" the domain account and then add domain.

Kloxo-MR Technical Helps / Re: 502 Bad Gateway
« on: 2014-03-11, 20:57:15 »
It worked after applying your fix ==> Switch Program to apache first and then change php-type to php-fpm_worker/_event in Webserver Config. After that, you can change back to nginx.

I did have to reinstall Nginx though.

Thanks

Kloxo-MR was installed today so I'm thinking that I already have roundcube 0.9.5 and not 1.0.rc

What is the url to access webmail? I'd like to access the postmaster@mydomain.com

I tried http://www.myhostname.com/wmail but I got a "not found" error.

I tried http://www.myhostname.com/roundcube but I got a "not found" error.

Nginx, Apache, and Hiawatha are installed on the server. Do you know how to check which server the SMT is using? What command should I use?

38
I want in mid-March but not sure because many issues need to resolved (like multiple-php, jailkit and cgroups implementation).

1. So should I go ahead and delete the server management tools and when you release the final version, then tell tech support to install the server management tools?

2. Will the server management tools work after I'm able to install final release of 6.5.1?

I hope will be fix in final release of 6.5.1.

When do you expect to get this release out?

There are 3 web servers installed: Apache, Nginx, and a 3rd unknown web server, and that's why Kloxo-MR isn't working. I installed Nginx (for Kloxo-MR) but tech support installed Apache and a 3rd unknow webserver.

The problem is the 3rd unknown webserver. Kloxo-MR is "taking that web server as the main web server and that's why Kloxo-MR is not running. The apache server access is not working.

The server administrator told me that if I remove the unknown web server, kloxo-mr supports nginx and both with work fine.

FYI: I had tech support install the server management tools (to prevent hacker and ddos) after I installed Nginx and Kloxo-MR but I will have to remove the server management tools because Kloxo-MR isn't working with Nginx.

This means that I'll have to install CSF and see if tech support has another way of protecting the vps while ensuring that Nginx and Kloxo-MR work. What do you suggest?

Hi,

The server management tools installed are all listed on ls at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?p=8986781&highlight=install+rootkit#post8986781 and since then Nginx and Kloxo

I had Nginx and Kloxo-MR were installed on Centos 6 vps and they worked fine but then the web host installed the server management tools at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?p=8986781&highlight=install+rootkit#post8986781 and since then Nginx and Kloxo-MR not working. Kloxo-MR was removed from the vps.

A server administrator just told me that "It's seems that you have installed too many web service softwares. Kloxo prefers httpd (apache) for running. Do you want me to remove all other web service manager? Or can you please re-install the operating system in the VPS -- if you don't have any problem." He did more trouble shooting and discovered that "the web service is too much for Kloxo-mr. Kloxo-mr is confused in using any one of them in installation -- apache, nginx and one other web server I don't know the name is installed. Kloxo-mr is taking that web server ( I don't know the name) as installation. And that's why it's not running. The apache server access is not working :( What do I do now?"

There is an incompatibility problem caused by one or some of the server management tools that tech support installed. The problem is not Nginx but with an unknown webserver preventing Nginx from working correctly on the vps. I told this to tech support.

FYI: The server management tools cannot be removed because they harden the vps  and protect the vps from hacking and ddos. However, I asked tech support for the name of the web server that's (and server management tools using it) is causing the incompatibility with Nginx but they haven't gotten back to me yet. I will have to delete that unknown web server and tools using it.

Question#1: How can I get Nginx and Kloxo-MR working on this vps with the installed server management tools? I want to use Nginx and Kloxo-MR and not Apache which tends to crash with Kloxo-MR.

Question#2: Will I have to use Nginx-proxy to get Kloxo-MR working on this vps with the installed server management tools? I was reading http://forum.mratwork.com/kloxo-mr-technical-helps/nginx-front-apache-backend-configuration-steps/. What is the best configuration to get Nginx and Kloxo-MR working on the vps?

Question#3: If the operating system is reinstalled, will Nginx and Kloxo-MR work?

Question#4: If the operating system is reinstalled on the vps, will that delete the server management tools?

Awaiting help

Thanks for this nice tutorial.

Can I change the ssh port 22 in admin > Security > SSH Config  from 22 to 16000 or higher?
Or do I need to use ssh command to change ssh port 22 to 16000 or higher?

I'm on a new vps but my old vps had 7777 not 7778.

Do I need a certificate to changes the default port to 7777?

If no certificate is required to change the default port to 7777, could you tell me what command to run? Or file where I need to change the default port?
