Kloxo-MR Technical Helps / Unable to change FTP password via Kloxo MR

Hello Mustafa.

I just installed the kloxo-mr on the brand new vps. Logged in and set all the prompted parameters such as changing default port, setting mail server name and dns template. Then I tried to log in to FTP server. The server prompts for user name/password then after short pause I get "Erro 530: authentication failed"


I tried to change the password via kloxo panel but it doesn't fix the issue.

If I am using the admin password that I use to log in to the Kloxo MR then it allows me to log in to the ftp.

I only have a single domain name in my Kloxo MR panel

Pureftpd.log is empty

The Kloxo is Kloxo-MR 6.5.0.f-2016111301

I turned off mail server because I don't need it.

What can I do to fix the issue?

I have the latest geoip installed however the php code is not displaying the location. What file do I need to edit to enable the geoip ? Is it /etc/php.d ?

I want to see where visitors are coming from and how many of them.

Kloxo-MR Technical Helps / How to install apache server without loosing website files?

Hello again Mustafa.

I logged in to my kloxo admin panel and found that apache server is gone. I don't know what happened to it. However my website files are all still there.

How can  I re-install Apache and not loose the files that are on the server?

Kloxo-MR Technical Helps / Selected to stop qmail in "services" tab and now can not log in to kloxo

Hello Mustafa.

Today I got a message that my server was going to be suspended for spamming. They showed me a log and I wanted to stop a qmail service. So I logged in to kloxo and turned off qmail on "services" tab. After that I was logged out of Kloxo automatically. Then I tried to log back inand got a wrong password message.
I googled on how to reset the password and tried the sh /script/resetpassword master

It didn't yeld any results.
Then I tried "service mysqld restart" and I got error that no such service.

Good evening.

I am trying to install geoip database and when I run the following command  :yum install geoip-database libgeoip-dev php5-geoip
  I get :
0 packages excluded due to repository protections
Setting up Install Process
No package geoip-database available.
No package libgeoip-dev available.
No package php5-geoip available.

How can I overcome the issue and install the geoip database?

Kloxo-MR Technical Helps / How to transfer entire kloxo-mr setup from one server to another?

Hello friends.
Could someone please advise how can I transfer the entire setup from one server to another.
I want to transfer between similar servers. Due to the size of the original server I can not create and download then upload the backup so I was wondering if I could create a slave server on my server 2 and connect them together and then move all the domains and email boxes and ftp addresses and such....If anyone knows how to do that please let me know.

My vps company send an email that they are moving to a new server and changing everyone's IP's and in 3 days the old IP's will stop working.

My Kloxo panel is installed and accessed via server IP:7778 .

What do I need to do to access Kloxo via new IP?

Good evening Mustafa.
I did a fresh install of Kloxo 7 on KVM centos server. Everything went as suppose to except I am having the following problem.
When I add the domain and then add FTP user for that domain I can access the directory via FTP but unable to access it via browser. My domain name resolves to the proper ip. I can upload and delete files on that directory but unable to access it via web browser. What can I do?

I recently installed a Kloxo panel - Latest version .

When created a MySQL database and wanted to check to make sure that certain tables were created I got the error

Kloxo-MR Technical Helps / How to lower the memory usage on Kloxo-MR Centos 6 x32

Hello friends.

I have installed Kloxo-MR on Cenetos 6 32 bit version. My VPS have 2 gb ram.

At the beginning Kloxo would use 120 mb then 170 then 200 then 300 and three days later It is using 650 mb of RAM.
I only host 2 wordpress blogs that are not having very many visitors.

My server is configured to use php 5.3 as SuPHP worker.
I tried different php modes such as SuPHP, pho-fpm, suphp event.

I also switched to innodb and ran optimise memory. I tried switching to tinydns which didn't do any noticable difference.

Please help me find a solution to how to lower the memory usage.

Kloxo-MR Technical Helps / How to properly set the cron job?

Hello friends.

I need to set the cron job for my wordpress blog to run every 5 minutes. The command that I need to run is

What I did is went to Cron settings in KloxoMR and selected "5" in minutes tab, "all" in every other field.
Then in command field I typed the command

wget -q -O - http://mydomain.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron >/dev/null 2>&1
About two hours later I got an email from "Cron Daemon" that said this:

I am running the latest Kloxo-MR on the Centos 6 x32. My configuration is tinydns and apache. My php runs as "Suphp worker". My server has 2 gb ram.

Could anybody please confirm that I am setting the cron job correctly?
