Ya begitu pak. Ini hasil percobaan yang saya lakukan di outlook dan berhasil:

IMAP >> Port: 143; Encrypted Connection: None
IMAP >> Port: 993; Encrypted Connection: SSL
POP3 >> Port: 110; Encrypted Connection: None
POP3 >> Port: 995; Encrypted Connection: SSL
SMTP >> Port: 25; Encrypted Connection: None, TLS (bisa dua-duanya dengan port yang sama)
SMTP >> Port: 587; Encrypted Connection: None, SSL (bisa dua-duanya dengan port yang sama)

Sama seperti yang saya tampilkan di awal post. Untuk SMTP port 465 sama sekali gak bisa diakses.

Oh ya pak, maklum newbie

Saya perjelas, maksud saya connection security untuk IMAP dan POP3 di thunderbird tidak bisa menggunakan SSL/TLS atau STARTTLS, tidak seperti di Outlook yang bisa diubah-ubah connection securitynya.Pilihan connection security yang bisa digunakan walau tidak aman yaitu NONE, jika diubah ke SSL/TLS atau STARTTLS maka FAILED.

Biarpun 'normal password' tapi kalau sudah 'encrypted connection' tetap saja password ter-encrypt.

Oke pak. Untuk kasus di thunderbird memang SMTPnya tidak ada warning, tapi untuk POP3/IMAP muncul warning berikut:

"Insecure mail servers do not use encrypted connection to protect your password and private information. By connecting to this server you could expose your password and private information"

Apakah memang ada settingan khusus di Qmail jika client menggunakan email client seperti thunderbird terutama dalam menggunakan SSL pada POP3/IMAP?

Salam,

Mohon bantuan teman-teman mengenai settingan SSL untuk qmail. Bagaimana caranya supaya email client seperti thunderbird dan outlook (terutama thunderbird) bisa menggunakan SSL untuk mengakses IMAP/POP3 dan SMTP.

Saya coba dari email client thunderbird hanya bisa menggunakan settingan berikut:
IMAP >> Port: 143; SSL: None; Authentication: Normal Password
POP3 >> Port: 110; SSL: None; Authentication: Normal Password
SMTP >> Port: 25; SSL: STARTTLS; Authentication: Normal Password

Untuk Outlook hanya bisa menggunakan settingan berikut:
IMAP >> Port: 143; Encrypted Connection: None
IMAP >> Port: 993; Encrypted Connection: SSL
POP3 >> Port: 110; Encrypted Connection: None
POP3 >> Port: 995; Encrypted Connection: SSL
SMTP >> Port: 25; Encrypted Connection: None, TLS
SMTP >> Port: 587; Encrypted Connection: None, SSL

Serem juga pakai thunderbird, passwordnya gak dienkrip alias PLAIN. Mohon petunjuk untuk Newbie yang satu ini  .

Saya Jaka PS, tinggal di bogor. Sekarang ini kerja sebagai server admin di bogor juga. Masih belajar jadi belum bisa banyak menyumbang ide/saran heheheh.

Dear friend (and Mustafa),

I have a similar problem.
When I enable the spamdyke, I unable to receive email. I test it from Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail. But none of these mail arrived. But, they arrived when I disable spamdyke.
I've try your suggest in this topic but it doesn't work.
The system said spamdyke has been installed.
and I run the script "sh /script/cleanup". but it doesn't help.

and clamav seems doesn't work too..

please helpp
