want to protect wp-login.php with user and password !

Use 'directory protect' in panel for this purpose.

Instead using dirprotect, better using re-captcha and wordfence.

Apache work's fine whit file and dir protection !
you have answer out of the moon ! Betther using this than that
nginx suppose to work with dir and file protect !!
why should you have a toilet when you can shit in the bush ( pretty much the same kind of answer )
