What is MaraDNS ?
« on: 2013-08-05, 18:41:57 »
Is it better than djbdns ? Does it support IPv6 ?

Why there is no PowerDNS ?

PowerDNS have different approach for config (database-based rather then file-based config). More difficult switch to PowerDNS rather than MaraDNS.

At this moment, I have no problem for using MaraDNS (but still have problem with MaraDNS config). The big problem is compile to rpm for Centos.

I will be testing PowerDNS soon. Seems to be the best and supports IPv6.

I am using PowerDNS for secondary DNS. You can see pdns.potissima.com where it's poweradmin panel for powerdns.
