This one might be hard to implement, because it uses mysqlnd instead of mysql ;)

I have a plan where Kloxo-MR using nginx + php 5.3.

In this situation, nginx always installed whatever you choose for web server (apacha, lighttpd, nginx, nginx-proxy or lighttpd-proxy). The reason is nginx using 'late' binding/listen for port (not global listen like apache but per-server; server is equal to virtualhost in apache term).

For php, using php 5.5 is too far. It's enough to 5.3.

OK. But please note php 5.3 will be old after a year too, but that's a long time.

We use PHP 5.4 since almost the beginning and it works very well. We offer PHP 5.2.17 for old scripts too.
