Pagespeed Cache Issue
« on: 2017-01-07, 05:47:29 »
Pagespeed seems to be working well and making sites load faster, however I can't seem to clear the cache which makes development very difficult. I have used the clear cache feature under webserver configuration, but I still see the old CSS. If I turn pagespeed off and switch to lighttpd  and back to apache it shows the current CSS. The very strange thing is that if I turn it back on, I see the old CSS again and I have completely deleted the var/cache/mod_pagespeed directory and still get the old CSS. I have cleared the browser cache and even checked on other computers.

Any idea what's going on?

Try change value of 'Static Files Expire' from '7' to '-1' (aka disable) in 'web features' for target certain domains.

Thanks. Where?

Also, seems to work much better through NGINX proxy, but now Apache when I look at the pingdom.com speed tests.

Need special nginx if you want need pagespeed. By default, only Apache already have pagespeed.

Go to 'admin > all > all domains > (select one) > web features'.

Thank you. I have also experimented with running NGINX Proxy with pagespeed turned on and it is definitely caching because it is showing old pages. In fact NGINX Proxy shows old pages even when pagesepeed is turned off. Do you know where that cache is coming from because I can't seem to clear it and make it create a new cache. I'm guessing that it is creating static pages, because it loads in less than half the time of apache alone.

To remove pagespeed cache, run 'sh /script/clearcache-pagespeed'.

Use 'sh /script/clearcache-pagespeed' or via 'webserver configure'.

Use 'sh /script/clearcache-pagespeed' or via 'webserver configure'.

not work, i don't use pagespeed, i only used nginx-proxy.

when i use nginx-proxy, the domain always redirect to: http://domain/wp-admin/setup-config.php

but when i use apache alone, domain is fine.

i switch again to nginx-proxy, it's redirect to http://domain/wp-admin/setup-config.php again

i thinks it's wrong in nginx cache, how i clear it?
and wrong with nginx configuration, it's define .php file like static file :-(

i change static file expired to -1 but still no luck :-(
