No longer can log into email after update

I've updated from 7.0.0.b-2015050301 to 7.0.0.b-2016020801

And now all email accounts cannot be log in. Thunderbird kept on asking for new password. So I logged into kloxo and reset the password. And that didn't work. I even tried webmail/roundcube and that said "Login failed."

Please help.

sh /script/fixmail-all
sh /script/fix-all
sh /script/fixvpop

Did you tried 'sh /script/cleanup'?.

Well, did "sh /script/cleanup" agian and did get this below

Fix services
- Fix dns services
- Fix webcache services
- Fix web services
- Fix php services
- Fix mail-all services
/usr/bin/mysql: unknown variable 'open_files_limit=65535'

Nope, big problem now. My database is down completely. So this is what I did.

With Kloxo and use file manager and edited out "open_files_limit=65535" in etc/my.cnf and that seem to solved my problem with the email issues. Then I reboot the VPS and that's when everything is down. Database is completely down.

Help what can I do now? I can't log into Kloxo and use file manager to put back the "open_files_limit=65535" in my.cnf.

So I did some reading and learned to used putty and got it back to the way it was. Back to the question before. I've read that post and still don't understand what to do.

I've changed "open_files_limit=65535" to "open-files-limit=65535" and that didn't work.

I don't know what to do.

Disable with '#open_files_limit=65535'

Is that ok? It seem to be working as of now. I will report back. But please let me know if it's ok to do that?

I don't just I just have the email problems only but now I have the same issue as before with the unknown hostname

I think it's the update. That screwed everything up and this time I can afford to start over. Can you please help?
