Mod_rewrite issue probably
« on: 2017-07-16, 11:35:22 »
Hello , I have a trouble with two of my vps servers having same kloxo panel.

I was having a domain under the admin account in both of my vps earlier , but then i deleted those domains from admin account and created a client and moved all the domain files and database to the client one manually through ftp.

In one vps i have wordpress installed and in other i have a forum , so in forum if i enable friendly URL's then my website give me ERROR-404 NOT FOUND error , And if i disable that website seems to work with index.php , and similarly with wordpress website is opening but the posts are giving 404 error. It seems to me the issue with mod_rewrite , but both site's were working fine with friendly URLs in admin account but in client account in both vps facing issue , how can i fix it? Anyone please help asap . Thank you

So, it's not related to rewrite directly but problem for applications itself.

No , there is no need to specify the directory , wordpress and the forum Software i am using are structured in such a way that they don't have any need to specify the directory.

I don't know why changing from admin to client caused such an issue , i have moved from one server from another alot times and mostly use kloxo-mr and always add domain in admin admin account , first time created client Account and facing issues.

Are you using Apache? I guess you missed to copy .htaccess file.

You must choose Thidden first.
