I'm not sure of the previous version I was using but I've been running 7.x since I believe 2015.

Already fix your server.

Remark: better change your OS to CentOS 6 (Centos 7 also able to use).

Some reasons to CentOS 6:
1. More php version (version 5.2 - 7.1)
2. Able to use letsencrypt (free SSL certificate)
3. CentOS 5 is EOF
