Help setting up mail with Kloxo-mr

Hello all im really really happy with kloxo-mr my server runs smooth believe or not but i have tried every other control panel to and everything is buggy and make my server use all memory but kloxo-mr i have never seen my vps at such low mem usage im using kloxo-mr with centos6 the only problem is i don't have mail setup on it i have tried a lot of tuts and something myself didn't work it shows that mail is working in the admin panel but im not able to send or receive mails im not even able to login to web-mail can any one please help?

I think everything i works fine but its the problem with setting up my dns i guess im really new at this. when i check my dns status at whatsmydns.net https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/www.desimoron.com my mx records and all other records doesnt show up is this the problme?

Your IP for mail.* and webmail.* is different. Webmail look like outside from your server.

Im now able lo go to webmail page of kloxo but when i try to login it says problem connecting to mail server i guess its some problem with my dns config can any one please help?

Hi,

You need to help yourself.

Just change ns1.desimoron.com and ns2.desimoron.com in the domain configuration with your registrar.

Then all other entries other than nsxx.desimoron.com in the root servers will disappear.

Mind you, it may take some hours to a couple of days until all the changes are propogated around.

hello sir i have fixed everything now the error with webmail is after logic says cant connect to mail server please help

The  subdomain webmail.desimoron.com is working. Smtp port 25 is open and working. Everything with the email server is fine and working.

I do not know if you check emails with SSL/TLS. If it does not work then it may be that SSL certificate is curropted or something is wrong there.

The problem is NOT with the remote email server.

If your local email client is not working then check with your email program.

What happens when you send an email from any googlemail account to one email address email@desimoron.com? Can you see this email from webmail.desimoron.com? If yes, then the problem is configuration of your local email client.

When i try to setup outlook with manual config ans test the setting im able to connect to pop but not smtp and when itry to login to webmail the error is "Error while connecting to mail server."

Hi,

Do one more trick.

Create all external nameservers dns*.bigrock.in in KloxoMr control Panel as mentioned under the category Parent in:

http://www.intodns.com/desimoron.com

Change in the General Settings SOA and make dns4.bigrock.in and Primary Nameserver.

Request incero.com to add a subdomain webmail.desimoron.com with the Ip address off your server.

Wait for a few hours until the Zonefiles gets updated. Then lets see if your webmail connection works.

I suspect that there are two Nameservers, namely dns4.bigrock.in and ns1.desimoron.com, both claiming to be SOA Primary Namesevers.

In this case, your webmail.desimoron.com tries to connect with dns4.bigrock.in but cannot find any information on the Ip Address of webmail.desimoron.com.

Thus, there is a connection error.
