FTP as root or admin

Is it possible to FTP as root or admin? I am having trouble downloading my backups from browsers maybe because the files are too big. How do I use FTP client, login as root or admin?

How do you do it? I'm not able to. I can logged in with all the other user but not admin.

I changed my password and now I am able to log in. But I am only able to access the "admin" directory. How do I get access to "home"?

Better disable access to /home.

For your issue. upload file to /home/admin and then move (cut and paster) file(s) to other location usimg 'admin > servers > localhost >file manager'.

That's what I did. But I thought it would be faster just direct access to home. Anyway, if this is what you recommended then I will stick with it. Thanks.
