Cleanup after Update
« on: 2014-06-21, 20:28:22 »
hi !

everythime i've done a yum update and kloxomr is updated, and the "sh /script/cleanup" command should be run, my httpd server start to give a "Starting httpd: httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name,", before i've run the update command i've put a ServerName on httpd.conf, but the cleanup command removes that line and the warning msg appears again.

is there a way to run a cleanup without messing with that line ?

tks

It's mean your server not setup with FQDN for hostname.

For example, server for this forum have 'dev.mratwork.com' for hostname and setting this hostname in VPS panel.

It's information about this server:
Code: [Select]
> hostname -f; hostname -s; cat /etc/hosts
dev.potissima.com
dev
127.0.0.1               localhost.localdomain localhost
### begin - add by Kloxo-MR
46.105.49.194 dev.potissima.com dev
### end - add by Kloxo-MR

So, try inform here your 'hostname -f; hostname -s; cat /etc/hosts'

So, you must change your hostname with 'server3.YOURDOMAIN.COM' in your VPS panel and your /etc/hosts.
