Can i convert to tokudb?

After update koloxo-MR7, i see new options in MySQL convert "to-tokudb"

Now im using "aria". My question is, can i migrate to tokudb?

Yes. In my test it's work not investigate intensively.

Learn /usr/local/lxlabs/kloxo/bin/fix/mysql-convert.php to know how to convert between storage-engine. Better convert via ssh with 'sh /script/mysql-convert --engine=tokudb' instead from panel.

Try using mysql-convert 3-4 times.

Need reboot for the first mysql-convert and then re-run mysql-convert again.

Sad news is, my another server where run prestashop cms, its db's crashed.

Except myisam (possible aria also), fix database with 'sh /script/mysql-optimize' may not work. They are (innodb and tokudb) claim where database corrupt are rare happens.

Investigate your prestashop database via phpmyadmin.

With mysql-convert, possible convert per-database or table only. Try 'sh /script/mysql-convert' to know what's I mean.

Back to Aria. Its best at this time in 2gb or 6gb ram box. MySQL can't load or its down several times after move to tokuDB. tokuDB need minimum 1gb-2gb ram. So i think its not for low end box.
