About fcgid file

Hello

I edited this /home/apache/conf/globals/fcgid.conf file to increase some performance like

FcgidMaxProcesses 8 to 200 and
ProcessLifeTime 240 to 7200

but later I'm seeing it is going again to default value! Can you plz tell me how can I keep my custom value? It is very important.

Copy fcgid.conf to custom.fcgid.conf and then modified this custom file.

After that, run 'sh /script/fixweb; sh /script/restart-web'

Just done this. now my /home/apache/conf/globals/ directory has 2 conf file as fcgid.conf and custom.fcgid.conf.
Just confirm me is this ok? can I delete fcgid.conf file?
