[Q] How dns server created?
« on: 2013-12-28, 16:19:24 »
Just want to know which script had build dns server domain record definition.

Currently I use djbdns, domain definition builded by kloxo, but something strange, subdomain are defined just like domain it self, had it's own SOA record. Thia become trouble when I use manual secondary dns domain (I mean not using kloxo). I must define all domain and sub domain as a slave on my secondary server.

Anybody could confirm subdomain definition file created splited from domain definition file? And which script that build the definion file?

Thank you in advance

Read /home/bind/conf/defaults/named.acl.conf.

If your secondary dns IP listing in this file that mean allow as secondary dns.
