hiawatha.conf
« on: 2014-07-09, 07:16:29 »
Mustafa,

Please move all configuration directives from /etc/hiawatha/hiawatha.conf and put them at beginning of /home/hiawatha/tpl/defaults.conf.tpl

On update I am always fixing hiawatha conf.

Everything in hiawatha.conf can be put in defaults.conf.tpl

Possible leave serverid, pid, and include statements.

Thank you!  This way custom.defaults.conf.tpl can be used.

Just updated again, /etc/hiawatha/hiawatha.conf was overwritten.  I had to edit it manually.

PLEASE move ALL configuration options to /home/hiawatha/tpl/defaults.conf.tpl

It defeats purpose for custom tpl if not used.

What is that going to do?  Hiawatha looks for hiawatha.conf

Running cleanup will overwrite /etc/hiawatha/hiawatha.conf with /home/hiawatha/etc/conf/custom.hiawatha.conf if exists.

Update Kloxo-MR

hiawatha.conf already change to hiawatha_standard.conf and hiawatha_proxy.conf. Alternatively, instead using custom file, you can create /etc/sysconfig/custom.hiawatha and add your ssh code.

Mustafa, I updated our main server which had a lot of hiawatha tweaks.  I was able to get everything running without any wigwam errors.

custom.hiawatha_standard.conf does not work, neither does custom.hiawatha.conf - I had deleted /etc/hiawatha.conf, then run cleanup, no /etc/hiawatha/hiawatha.conf created.  Even switch to lightppd, then hiawatha, still no /etc/hiawatha/hiawatha.conf created.

I did it manually.

I saw in 'cleanup' cp can not stat hiawatha.conf, but it did not point to the new _standard.conf - this is a bug.

Newest 7.0.0b.

If you run 'sh /script/fixweb --select=defaults' (of just 'sh /script/fixweb'), Kloxo-MR will be copy /opt/hiawatha/etc/conf/hiawatha_standard.conf or hiawatha_proxy (depend or use hiawatha or hiawatha-proxy) to /etc/hiawatha/hiawatha.conf. Use custom file if exists.
