after recent updates websites blank often
« on: 2014-03-16, 23:03:27 »
Mustafa,

After all the recent updates, after some random amount of time, websites will be blank.  I will have to /script/restart-web to bring them back online.  I was using php55u, however, I switched back to php54.  So far no blank pages.

What causes this?

No change related to webconfig. except change to 'cgi.fix_pathinfo = 0' and 'cgi.rfc2616_headers = 1' in php.ini

websites have all remained online with php54.

When I switch to php55u, after random time, websites appear blank.  I even get watchdog mail alerts, nginxproxy restart.  Switch back to php54, problems stop.

Look like ok now.

If you found something like '????r?.?[??wHCG"(w7n?H$$H??/C' that mean something wrong with application cache (need delete plugins cache and or setting not match).

EDIT: wrong place to post.

I went to look at my site again, it was blank.  Had to restart-web to get it back.  Now this was php54.  So it has to be a fastcgi or php-fpm or something like that problem.  This never happened until recent updates.

Blank page usually error '502'. And usually because ownership and permissions of directories/files.

Latest version is more strict for security issue.

In my test, if all php files inside /home/admin/<domain> not 'admin' as ownership, page will be blank but change ownership to 'admin' (with fix-chownchmod) make page running well.
