file /etc/logrotate.d/syslog
« on: 2016-02-03, 00:18:18 »
Hi,

I have a Kloxo 6.5 and 7.0 and both have problems in maillog.. after logrotate...
I think that file must be changed to this...

Code: [Select]
/var/log/cron /var/log/maillog /var/log/messages /var/log/secure /var/log/spooler {
    sharedscripts
    postrotate
        /bin/kill -HUP `cat /var/run/syslogd.pid 2> /dev/null` 2> /dev/null || true
    endscript
}

Thanks

This not fix the maillog...

Why this happen?
On logrotate something is wrong.. and the file is missing!

All my logs are getting blank and I need to restart syslog to get them back. Hope it fixes this permanently.
