If used outsite mail server like google mail, zoho, mail.ru and etc.
1. In Webmail Application - Disable
2. Remote Mail:
    a) Mail Hosted Remotely  - remote
    b) Webmail URL - http://your.webmailurl.com

Yes, but using mail() in php (aka sendmail) will make your message as 'spam' by recipient (example gmail). So, still need 'txt record' for dkim, spf and dmarc.
