What is Best Buy's return policy?
A few factors should be considered when reviewing Best Buy's return policy, including return periods, restocking fees, and whether the purchased item can be returned. Fortunately, most electronic items, including smartphones, can likely be returned.
Return periods
For everything except mobile phones and other items that require activation, the return period is 15 days. (For comparison, Amazon's return period is 30 days.) Those items that require activation (phones, tablets, hotspots) must be returned within 14 days of receiving the unit. The big exception to this 14-day return period is Verizon items, which have a 30-day return period.
