Oh, i mistakenly have thought all Kloxo-MR stuff was supposed to go into Kloxo-MR Development!
Strange. Yes, it was updated yesterday by support at Namecheap.com after the setup of the name servers was done by me within Kloxo-MR. And yes, my website resolves.

Had a quick check at http://mxtoolbox.com/ and i get correct MX and the main shared IP listed.

EDIT:  i found the cause, which is related to Spamdyke:

Disabling Spamdyke works - i am able to receive email- but i would much appreciate having a working Spamdyke as i see it's very useful with DNS RBL Servers  etc.

Mustafa: any idea how to fix it?

This should have been posted in technical issues.

Qmail-toaster uses the main IP for the server to send mail.  Has the nameservers been updated at your registrar been updated to point to the new ip's?

2 things:

• In the DNS template assigned to the client, i've chosen the shared IP for web and mail server, and assigned 2 IPs for ns1 and ns2.mydomain.com. But when i check the email header on Gmail i see:
  Received: from mail.mydomain.com ([ IP of ns1 ]).
  Why is the assigned IP of ns1 being used for email server?
  
• I'm able to send emails, but nothing is received. /var/log/maillog shows no signs of incoming emails at all!
   I did some tests from a remote computer to the Kloxo-MR server:
    telnet mail.mydomain.com 993/143/465/587 - success!
   So it looks like server daemons are just fine.

Kloxo-MR Development / No webmail

As the client, i've chosen Apache for web and  Roundcube as the webmail application, but netstat -tapn |egrep '(:80|:443)' returns nothing, hence nothing on webmail.mydomain.com neither 
Using Nginx, netstat shows it's listening on ports 80 and 443, but i see from the log:
2014/01/26 20:38:40 [warn] 9286#0: *1 using uninitialized "domain" variable, client: 109.201.134.17, server: mydomain.com, request: "HEAD / HTTP/1.1", host: "webmail.mydomain.com"

Any ways to get webmail working at all?

Kloxo-MR Development / Problem with name server - DJBDNS

Hi,
i've just setup a VM with Kloxo-MR 6.5.1 to test with a test domain before migrating from cPanel. Using DJBDNS, the ns2 doesn't respond to a  'dig @IP-of-ns2 mydomain.com', while it works fine with ns1. I'm able to ping the IP of ns2 though.
I've now switched back to bind and that issue is gone, but still i get
Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: SERVFAIL, id: 43540
;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 1.

Any idea why i don't get any authoritative answer?

EDIT: ok, i figured out i was missing an A-record for the domain name! Isn't that supposed to be default inside the DNStemplate?
Also, updating the DNStemplate that's assigned to the resource plan for the client account, no updates are taken place when logged in as the client->manage DNS, still the A-record isn't there.
I had to create an A-record from the client account.

Ok, i have more than 10 IPs since i have to use dedicated IPs for nameservers.
But it's a bit unclear since you say that emails from your backup server goes to Yahoo's Spam, so does it mean that your backup server is not the same as the slave server you referred to earlier which was fine sending email from?
Another question to clarify: does emails from your main server still go to Spam folder of Gmail, but Inbox of Yahoo? Is that correct?
 

When sending to yahoo.com mails from backup server goes to SPAM (no SPF, Domainkeys and DKIM out there), mails from main server goes to Inbox !

I have exactly the same problem. It works on live/hotmail.com, but for Yahoo Mail and Gmail all my email are going to Spam. I assume you are using Kloxo-MR, did you change the main IP, i.e the shared IP to overcome this issue? Did the emails go to Inbox once you changed the main IP?

Yup, Gmail red flags IP.  I have tried to get a criteria from them, but basically I was told if this happens, once a percentage of users mark the email as "not spam" your IP will go through again.  I asked what percentage, no reply. :-(

I switched my main IP, which can't always be done (I understand) but that's how I got past it.

I would install my sendmail wrapper and watch for spam through scripts.  (Posting it today to tips and tricks session, as it has worked a week under normal load without a huge cpu strain)

So your email from the slave server did NOT go into Spam folder of Gmail?
If that's the case, we would like to know the differences of your master vs slave server. Do they run Kloxo-MR, same version etc?

I've sent mail via console from my backup slave server and it worked fine.

So I've mail via console from master and it went to SPAM :/

Is it a bigger and time consuming change to replace Qmail with Exim in Kloxo-MR?
