MySQL is crashed and I'm getting "error connecting to database" on website. I'm unable to login to Kloxo-MR. Please help me fix this. I tried running command on http://forum.mratwork.com/kloxo-mr-technical-helps/i-cannot-acces-kloxo-mr-panel/msg28086/#msg28086 but mysql still crashed.

I created several email addresses for my website. However, one of the emails isn't displaying in the list of mail accounts. I keep getting the following error when I try to add it so that it appears in the list:

Press Esc to close    
Alert: forward_with_same_id_exists [info@mysite.com]

FYI: I looked in forward emails for the email address but there is none. The email exists somewhere in KloxoMR database but not in the mail accounts list.

What command do I run to fix this problem?

What does /var/log/maillog report?  Send email to your server, say from Gmail.  The copy/paste the maillog for that transaction.

I think the qmail incoming mail problem is related to the courier-imap-toaster NOT being installed with qmail. 

I'm reading http://forum.lxcenter.org/index.php?t=msg&th=15419&goto=79912&#msg_79912
and it clearly states that to solve incoming mail problems, you need to have courier-imap-toaster installed. Kloxo-MR installation instructions stated that "(in progress: change from courier-imap to dovecot as imap/pop3)

For incoming mail problem:
(1). make sure "courier-imap" as active (green button) in "admin > servers > localhost > services"
(2). make sure all your domains and subdomains listing in file "/var/qmail/control/rcpthosts"
(3). restart "courier-imap" after update rcpthosts file

Kloxo-MR: latest version
OS: CentOS release 6
Services: see attached
Php-type: php-fpm_event

Could someone share the direct download link for courier-imap-toaster?
I have no idea why it wasn't included in the Kloxo-MR installation package.

I'm too am unable to receive mail but I can send mail.
Also, there is NO mail queue in admin > Web Mail Database > Mail Queue and I've been sending mail for over 2 weeks now. Since there is no mail queue it difficult to troubleshoot the problem.

I only have qmail but @djscooby has qmail AND courier-imap in admin > servers > localhost > services

Do I have to install courier-imap to get incoming mail working?
I already ran @chris commands but problem persists.

Could you help me troubleshoot this problem?

I have same problem but let me know if I should create a new thread.

Could someone help me solve the Squirrelmail problem I'm having? I'm now able to send emails but Squirrelmail still isn't receiving emails at all. What are the php function restrictions in admin->php settings->advanced ?

Attached are the settings in admin->php settings->advanced

I tried disabling/deleting the following php functions but Kloxo-MR isn't  saving the blank field:
exec,passthru,shell_exec,system,proc_open,popen,show_source

So the only php function in Disable Functions field is: exec

I followed the above commands and I'm able to send mail from SquirrelMail. However, SquirrelMail is NOT receiving emails at all. What command(s) do I run?

Also, Roundcube still returning the following error:

DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!
Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.

1. Spamdyke 5.0. OK, I have Spamdyke enabled in Kloxo-MR > admin > Server Mail Settings. See attached settings.
I reinstalled Kloxo-MR on March 3rd. How do I know if I have Spamdyke 5.0 installed?

2. Reject recipient. I'm reading http://www.spamdyke.org/documentation/README.html#REJECTING_RECIPIENTS and it supports recipient reject. Is there a way to activate reject recipient in Kloxo-MR admin > Spamdyke or do I need to make changes to qmail files referenced in the above link?

3. Are there instructions to setup mail with tls/ssl for Kloxo-MR?

FYI: I watched a video about sftp or ftps and will apply this secure connection soon.

Yesterday, I tried logging into Kloxo-MR panel but I have no access -- "unable to connect to server" error.

It seems like httpd was uninstalled and isn't working now. I never uninstalled httpd. Could you help me figure out why httpd was removed and fix Kloxo-MR login access?

KloxoMR,  default port changed.  All passwords strong (meaning at least 10 chars, upper lowercase, atleasr one number and one symbol) CSF firewall.  Spamdyke 5.0 and recipient reject.

No other tools neccessary.  CSF is a very good firewall, and will do many things, go through the etc/csf/csf.conf and read all about settings.

ALWAYS use encrypted connections to your server.  Never use FTP.  Use sftp, or ftps.  Never get mail without tls/ssl.  Always use port 7777 (or what you have it configured to) ssl on KloxoMR panel.

Port 7777 used on Kloxo-MR panel. I do use strong passwords from http://strongpasswordgenerator.com/.
CSF Firewall installed per Chris's forum post instructions.

I will research Spamdyke 5.0 and recipient reject. I'll also research  sftp, or ftps and setup mail with tls/ssl. If you have any instructions or good Youtube videos on this, please post here.

I have a Centos 6 vps with Nginx and Kloxo-MR installed.

I'm doing lots of research to harden my vps from hacker attacks and ddos attacks.

Right now, I have CSF Firewall installed and I'll install rkhunter. Since chkrootkit is similar to rkhunter, I want only rkhunter installed.   

Still, since I've experienced malicious hacker attacks, I'm diligently looking to find the best solutions to prevent another attack.

FYI: The malicious hacker used Wordpress vulnerabilities documented on this forum so I installed Bruteprotect Wordfence and BWS.

For hardening the vps, I've been reading about https://www.rfxn.com/projects/brute-force-detection/ and OSSEC and OpenVAS. OSSEC is a detection tool and OpenVAS is a vulnerability management tool. I'm leaning toward BFD.

I want to avoid installing redundant security tools and too many tools that may overwhelm the vps or cause incompatibility with Nginx and Kloxo-MR which did occur. 

Please share your suggestions on how you secure your vps and what you think about the above security tools.

Kloxo-MR has 4 mail clients and none of them are working.

I have Roundcube 0.9.5 but I'm getting a database error when I click Roundcube in webmail.mydomain.com
I can login to SquirrelMail but I'm unable to send mail because I keep getting an error message.
I set Roundcube as the Webmail Application for my domain but any mail client should work regardless.

What command do I run to fix Webmail problem?

I restored from a backup on new vps and this caused a whole lot of problems, including permission problems in Wordpress.

My solution was to reinstall Kloxo-MR, create fresh install of Wordpress files.
I used XAMPP to export and import SPECIFIC tables to new PHPMyAdmin -- imported only posts, postmeta, comments, commentsmeta, terms, taxonomy. NO wp_options, WP_users or security plugins were imported into new database because this would change login details and security configurations. This took some time but saved me hours of having to recreate posts.
