Kloxo-MR Development / pho-fpm is all wrong!!

Php-fpm is all messed up.  It is loading /opt/53s ini file, which makes all the modules the wrong ones for php54 or php55u.  I can't even get my sites to run properly.

I switched to suphp_event, all is working.  But, there is no way to edit php.ini because it loads per site, in /home/httpd/[domain]/php.ini

THIS IS A MESS!

The php-fpm configs are all messed up.  DO NOT TELL ME IT IS MY SERVER.  It is the recent updates to 6.5.1b.

Kloxo-MR Development / php error throws server 500 internal error

After latest update, I have been going crazy!  Php errors no longer display, and they throw 500 internal server error.  Hard to trace if it doesn't show what's wrong.

why is this happening and how to fix?  I'm using Apache as webserver.

Mustafa,

After all the recent updates, after some random amount of time, websites will be blank.  I will have to /script/restart-web to bring them back online.  I was using php55u, however, I switched back to php54.  So far no blank pages.

What causes this?

Kloxo-MR Technical Helps / php-fpm failing after yum update

Mustafa,

I updated a server last night, newest KloxoMR and another php54 update - on script/cleanup when php-fpm restarted it failed.

I did all old tricks, changed php branch, changed php type, changed webserver.  Ran fix-all, fixphpfpm, nothing would get php-fpm running.  I replaced php54 with php53u and fix scripts.  Somehow it is working.

Just now updated another server.  Same problem.  This time I can not get php-fpm to work.  Something is wrong.  I am not updating any more servers.

Please advise.

Kloxo-MR Bugs and Requests / Small icons for domain/mail/mysql etc in simplicity

Mustafa, please fix the small icons in ALL pages that use small 'icons'.  The "0" is useless and clients don't know what they are.  The small icons was much better.

I use 'image' for button type.

Please fix.  Thank you.

Kloxo-MR Development / spamdyke 5.0 recipient-reject

Mustafa, after the recent posts from Kloxo-DR and researching new functions of spamdyke 5, please compile spamdyke-qrv so we can use recipient-reject as Kloxo-DR has proposed.  After emailing back and forth with Sam, I am told that we have to declare where to find spamdyke-qrv in the conf, as spamdyke will not search for it in PATH.

From spamdyke:
   to use recipient-reject....you'll need to compile and install the spamdyke-qrv
   command as well:
     cd spamdyke-x.y.z/spamdyke-qrv
     ./configure
     make

   Copy the spamdyke-qrv executable to /usr/local/bin:
     su
     cp spamdyke-qrv /usr/local/bin/
     chown root /usr/local/bin/spamdyke-qrv
     chmod u+s /usr/local/bin/spamdyke-qrv

Mustafa,  please advise what to do to resolve this.  I ran 'yum update' and got all this errors.  I have no repos but base and mratwork.

Kloxo-MR Tips and Tricks / [MODIFICATION] Ajaxy Simplicity skin status

This is for KloxoMR 6.5.1:Simplicity skin

I proposed this earlier, and after not liking the 'status' button, which is in my opinion useless, I wrote this quick change that looks and works very professional.

This is a custom file, therefore on update it WILL NOT get overwritten.

It displays the status for 15 seconds, then fades out in a professional  look/feel.

Install is simple:

The logout link and status button are overlapping.

The time should be am/pm not military time.  Ex: 14:02 should be 2:02 P,  most people like standard time, not 24 hour format.

Mustafa, on top links, 'ticket' should go to custom 'help desk' url set in admin->general settings.

I use custom help/ticket system, and have this url set in panel, help desk icon sends to custom url, new ticket link at top sends to KloxoMR ticket/helpdesk.  Please check for custom url and if exist,  send to that url.

This is a update and rewrite of the first script.  Please read:

The idea behind this update is no longer to send the mail piped line by line to the original sendmail.  Malformed email, or an extra carriage return/enter was causing the script to halt and not send.  To overcome this, I use a bash script to check with our database (OK to send mail) and then pipe it directly to the qmail sendmail program.  It gets it unaltered.  If a limit is reached, it simply doesn't pass it to the qmail sendmail.

This also made it faster, and under load, it performs better.  The logging has been changed, and can be either on or off.  It will log the time, working directory of the script which invoked it, user, user id, current count / Max count, and status.

If you already installed v1.0 you do not have to redo the SQL, but the configuration file and all else have changed.  Right before running the new install script, issue this command

Log can be found at: /var/log/sendmail-limits.log and is rotated automatically daily, saving previous 10.

Read the txt file for details BEFORE running the install script, configuration is easy.  Again, report any issues.  This is a must for a shared hosting environment.

Kloxo-MR Bugs and Requests / scavenge time/cron?

I have noticed that scavenge does not appear to run.  I set scavenge time in KloxoMR panel, then searched through crontab -l and /var/spool/cron and all the cron.* directories but no scavenge.

Where and how does this process run automatically?

Across a 5 server cluster I was noticing stats not getting updated, traffic count wrong.  These are all new 6.5.1a installs.

I have created a file in cron.daily that calls to /script/fixtraffic and things have started working, or appear to.  This is not right.

I am concerned with resource overages and proper tracking.

Please advise.

Mustafa,  I set KloxoMR SSL cert by going to SSL Certificates, adding my certificate, then clicking on set Kloxo SSL.  I chose the SSL certificate I want to use, click update.

This works.  I can access KloxoMR at https://mydomain:7777 and the certificate shows valid, green lock.

Next,  I upload logo using admin 'upload logo' icon.  It uploads.  It does not show properly in simplicity skin display for logo, but it is on login screen upper left.  So it works.

Run sh/script/cleanup.

SSL set back to lxlabs, logo gone.

This should not happen every KloxoMR update.  Please fix.  Thank you

In new simplicity skin there is no notification from the panel as to whether an event was successful or not.

in the upper left corner have a div z-index above all else, position absolute, top 10, left 10.  When ever you do an action display a message in this div set a timer, 5 seconds, hide the div.

It would be different, and look professional.

Just a suggestion.  It is nice to know the status of an action.
