Kloxo-MR Technical Helps / Postgres Server install on Multiple PHP

Hi,

I vitally need postgress working on Kloxo 7 with Multiple PHP (PHP-FPM + Apache) . I need those for almost all PHP versions php52m ,php53m ,php55m ,php56m .

I see in yum install postgres-server it offers 8.4 version, but i need 9.1 . Can i install it from other repo ?

Could you give a hint if this is at all doable fast without lots of tweaks ?

Will it work after update/cleanup ?

1. Hacker do have big botnets scrapping the sites for required software (like they can make a list of all sites with Kloxo using header, and if onde day 0day vulnerability will popup - they might attack).

2. Serious comanies do not tolerate such answer (that hackers does not care) - they have rules to follow, so this is why i asked about it - because i have several companies and i need to manually remove headers (espacially after each update /cleanup )

Hi, the problem is NOT enabling Selinux,

the porblem is TO HIDE INFROMATION IN HEADERS , so that hackers would never know which version(Apache/PHP) is running exactly, and wich CP is installed.

Hi Mustafa ,

Please make it possible to hide

X-Supported-By:Mr-Kloxo 7.0 (this exposes that servers Selinux is disabled)

plus :

php_expose off
ServerSignature Off
ServerTokens Prod

For bigger, more serious clients , who do audits for security sites - these options are always a problem, and they report it should be hidden/removed/adjusted. It would be great if this could be controlled Client wise / Server wise

Please see an example of Audit , and im sure more professional companies would recieve similar enquiries. So this would be really a good feature (I know i can change all manually, but with each update/cleanup there will be a chance they will come back )

Oh, thats weird,
but in /etc/yum.conf i found this line :

could it be smth left from Kloxo 6.5 ? (its possible i did this myself for some reasons, but im not sure now ). ANyway - solved now

I'm confused that mariadb somehow disappeared .

ANy fast fix for this ?

In yum repo i see  labeled for 32 bits, but im on a 64 bits.

Mustafa,

What about the situation where server is 4GB RAM / 4Cpu and / php56m / fpm_event

Clients count is 15, with 25 websites at all

out of those 15 clients 2 have average traffic, rest have very small traffic ,

but when i ran "top" i see each client has 4 "php-fpm" processes . Thus 60 php-fpm processes running (i assume consuming memory?)

could you advise how i can tune this model ? maybe switching to another?

HI,

Well, with COMPLEX CRON - even if i have ONE rule, and run fixcron - /var/spool/cron becomes empty . Until i delete ALL COMPLEX CRONS and rerun fixcron - they will never appear, even if i add more cron jobs . See image step by step with evidence

PS - Its happening on 5 my VPSes - for half a year now . I have to use system crontab for complex tasks, which is not really very comfortable Hope you can sort this

Mustafa, any update on this . Complex cron addition stil ruins the cron . Just tried on absolutley fresh VPS . Adding ONCE might work, however adding more complex rules and running sh /scripts/fixcron would make /var/spool/cron empty and would never fix, unless all cornjobs are deleted
