To update Kloxo MR 7.0, it's ok now after 'yum remove *.i386 *.i686 -y'

I still have the problem to update Kloxo MR 6.5 even after adding 'exclude=mysql51* mysql56* MariaDB* dovecot' in /etc/yum.conf file
# yum clean all
# yum update -y

Error: Package: 1:dovecot-toaster-2.2.24-1.mr.el6.x86_64 (mratwork-release-version-arch)
           Requires: libmysqlclient.so.18(libmysqlclient_18)(64bit)

I'm still stuck :-(

Hi,

Thanks for help, I have this issue now:

Error:  Multilib version problems found. This often means that the root
       cause is something else and multilib version checking is just
       pointing out that there is a problem. Eg.:

         1. You have an upgrade for libxml2 which is missing some
            dependency that another package requires. Yum is trying to
            solve this by installing an older version of libxml2 of the
            different architecture. If you exclude the bad architecture
            yum will tell you what the root cause is (which package
            requires what). You can try redoing the upgrade with
            --exclude libxml2.otherarch ... this should give you an error
            message showing the root cause of the problem.

         2. You have multiple architectures of libxml2 installed, but
            yum can only see an upgrade for one of those arcitectures.
            If you don't want/need both architectures anymore then you
            can remove the one with the missing update and everything
            will work.

         3. You have duplicate versions of libxml2 installed already.
            You can use "yum check" to get yum show these errors.

       ...you can also use --setopt=protected_multilib=false to remove
       this checking, however this is almost never the correct thing to
       do as something else is very likely to go wrong (often causing
       much more problems).

       Protected multilib versions: libxml2-2.9.1-1.mr.el6.x86_64 != libxml2-2.7.6-21.el6_8.1.i686

Please, what should I do?

Sorry the error i had when updating is:
Error: mysql55-libs conflicts with MariaDB-compat-10.0.26-1.el6.x86_64

On another VPS with Kloxo MR 6.5, I have this issue:
Error: mysql56u-libs conflicts with mysql55-libs-5.5.50-1.ius.el6.x86_64

what should i do with these issues?

Hi Mustapha,

I tried to update one of my VPS with Kloxo MR 6.5 and I had this issue :

Error: mysql56u-libs conflicts with mysql55-libs-5.5.50-1.ius.el6.x86_64

So I disabled mariadb in mratwork.repo but I have another issue when updating:

Error: Package: 1:dovecot-toaster-2.2.24-1.mr.el6.x86_64 (mratwork-release-version-arch)
           Requires: libmysqlclient.so.18(libmysqlclient_18)(64bit)

I tried this:
rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db*
rpm --rebuilddb
yum clean all
yum update -y

but I still have the same error and I can not update my VPS,

Any idea to get spamdyke work like before in Kloxo MR 6.5, since I activated TLS, i can not run spamdyke. I put back all the files to the original but it's not working like before.

I also did:
# yum update
# sh /script/cleanup
to reset config files but didn't work

I also did:
# sh /script/fixmail-all
# sh /script/restart-mail
but didn't work.

Without Spamdyke, I receive spam in my VPS. Please help. Then I will upgrade all my VPS to Kloxo MR7 but I don't want to do a wrong command and loose data. Thank you

Well i found a solution to make my system work:

1 SSD VPS for domain names + 1 HHD VPS for emails of the same domain names

If mails are delivered in the first VPS, I'll copy the mails to the 2nd VPS with a cron tab and scp command.

I will test this process and tell if it works fine or not...

Thanksfor the reply.

I understand that domains and its emails should be in the same server to work proprely? If we use MX of another server, emails sent with PHP mail() function will not be delivered but stuck in the server hosting domains?

It's a shame because emails take much space on servers and I would have taken SSD VPS for websites and HDD VPS for emails.

Is there any fix for this issue? Is this due to Qmailtoaster or Kloxo MR7?

Hi everyone,

I have two questions, thank you for your help:

1/ Can we bind several IP address to Qmail Toaster in Kloxo MR 7? I would like to protect some Ip from being blacklisted. As you know, only one bad client acting as a spammer can destroy your IP reputation. In this way, I could isolate customers with dedicated IPs on the VPS.

2/ Can we force send outgoing mails to domains that are currently in the VPS (listed in rcpthosts)? For example, i have domain.com on server A but emails of domain.com are on server B. If i send an email from server A to postmaster@domain.com, the email don't reach Server B but get stuck on server A. What is the solution ? My goal would be to have one VPS for domains and another VPS for emails.

Hi everbody,

With no help, I had to reinstall Kloxo MR 6.5 on my VPS 

Since I try to make Spamdyke work with TSL option, Spamdyke does not work at all even without TLS.

Can someone help me resolve this issue? Since spamdyke is desactivated on my VPS, I receive spam and I hate spam.

After tries et errors, I had to remove qmail toaster and I tried to reinstall it but there is an error I can't solve:

I did:
yum remove *-toaster
rm -rf /var/qmail/
yum install *-toaster webalizer cronie cronie-anacron crontabs

But I have this issue:

Thank you Mustapha but It didn't work.

Here is some info :
- I have Kloxo MR 6.5.0 and spamdyke version 5.0.0.
- custom.spamdyke.conf didn't work, I had to modify /usr/local/lxlabs/kloxo/file/template/spamdyke.conf directly so that I could see the line tls-level=smtps
- I could see an error in mailog file
smtp-ssl: ERROR(process_config_file()@configuration.c:4389): Unknown configuration file option in file /etc/spamdyke.conf on line 65: reject-missing-sender-mx
- so I unchecked this option, after that no error but mail is still blocked for delivery.
- I even unchecked graylisting and no resolution
- when I unckeck spamdyke and restart gmail, all emails blocked are finally delivered to my server.

So something goes wrong and I don't know where to search to resolve this, please help me.
