Finally I got bind (named) to start.
I ran "named -g" and looked for the errors reported. the problem was due to invalid permissions to
/var/log/named folder and its files for "named".

I've added a new IP to the server, and changed the ns records of the domain to point to this IP.
but when I try dns traversal of the domains hosted on my server, the new ns record wouldn't respond!
The server is CentOS 6.5, Kloxo-MR 7.
DNS server is : pdns

I looked and the new IP address (which is in a completely another IP range than the primary IP), has been added in ifcfg-eth0:0 file with no gateway information.

It seems that the dns applications are going down one-by-one in my server.
I installed the Kloxo-Mr 7 on a CentOs 6.5 a few days ago, and everything was fine, the default dns server was bind, then I restored my previously backed up data from Kloxo-MR 6.5 , and the dns server failed to start, I tried to find the problem, but I couldn't, so I changed the component to nsd, and it worked, until another restoration, and nsd stopped working too, then again I changed the dns server application to Djbdns, and it worked fine. Today I changed the IP address of the server, and updated the DNS settings, dns templates,.. , and Djbdns stopped working too.
I tried to switch to bind, nsd, djbdns, and none of them worked, I tried /script/fixdns, rebooted the server, but none of them working.
Now I changed the component to pdns, and it's working, I think in a near future I'll ran out of options! if I can't fix the other dns servers!

by running yum update, some packages got updated, but the process stopped with this error:

djbdns did started OK, but other two (named, nsd) didn't.

After selecting bogofilter and clicking update, I got : Alert: install bogofilter failed.
I changed to spamassasin, and clicked update, then I got: Alert: Install failed [spamassassin-toaster]

also when restarting all services, nsd would fail to start, I tried bind, and it failed too. I changed to Djbdns and it started OK, but the other two failed!.

I tried /script/fixdns and /script/fixweb-all wich resulted to creating DNS records, now I can ping the domain, but when I try to browse the domain, I see the Kloxo page which says: "If you are seeing this page, it means that web has not been configured for this domain on this server."

I enabled directory index, and again the same page.
I looked inside this folder: /opt/configs/apache/conf/domains/ and there was no .conf file for this domain.

I'm applying all changes using admin.
I tried both, I created a customer under a reseller and also created a new customer under admin.

Also I created a new domain under admin, and again the dns records didn't have been created.
The limit changing is OK for other previously created customers. but since the last customer restore (which was failed because of this error), I think something has happened to Kloxo control panel.

I'll try to disable ajax to see what happens.

I just restored backed up data to kloxo-mr. (src: kloxo-mr 6.5, des=kloxo-mr 7)
When I was restoring, I decided to restore clients one by one, when restoring last client, the domain related to him, didn't work, after I investigated, I found out that its dns records has not been created, and also I wasn't able to change his limits or plan.
Now when I create a new client, the same thing happens, the client will be build successfully, but I can not change his plan/limits, and when I create a domain for him, the DNS records would not be created, thus the domain is not accessible.
I checked the named.master.conf and there was no information regarding the new domain.
When I try to change the clients limit or plan, the window just shows "updating" and nothing happens.

The restore log file you mentioned didn't report any errors, and according to it, the restore process started and finished successfully. but some settings and databases didn't have restored correctly.

As I investigated inside php code, I find this in lxbackuplib.php:

which I think means the program shows this message regardless of the real status of the restore process.

I looked inside the log/restore file, but no error have been reported there, according to that file, the restore process started and finished successfully. but many settings and some databases didn't restored completely.
In one case, I extracted the .dump of the database, and made many changes inside it and imported it via PhpMyAdmin.

I'm getting this error when I try to restore backup created in Kloxo 6.5.
The target Kloxo version is 7.
I tried to restore one by one or all the items at the same time, but no difference.
The old system is not accessible any more.
The new system which is a CentOS 6.5 and is running Kloxo 7 is a fresh install. just tried to restore the backup a few times.
