Wholesale reseller vs reseller
« on: 2016-07-20, 20:13:11 »
What are the difference between Wholesale reseller vs reseller?

Also, is there a way to assign one of these client type to either a server or an IP address? I want to give Resellers their own VPSs.

Thanks.

I wonder the same actually about Wholesale reseller vs reseller?  :D

As far as i know, there is no way of dedicating a client type to one server resource, but what i see as a solution is to use server pool and assign the server one reseller/client can use for web/db/mail/dns etc.
This way you limit what a reseller/client can use of resources.

Thank you!

Could you tell me how to do this? "use server pool and assign the server one reseller/client"

Sorry, I am a total newb to this software. How would I assign a server to a user?

Reseller only possible add their customers in the same server location (let say, reseller location in server1 and their customers in server1 too). Wholereseller possible add their customers in diiferent server locations (let say, reseller location in server1 and their customers in server1, server2 and other servers).

Got it, thank you. How or where do I set the limit to limit a reseller (or their customers) to s specific server?

No problem :)
Go to the client as admin, click on "server pool" and you'll get the options.
There you'll see the Kloxo-MR servers you've added through "Servers".

@Mustafa, thanks for informing us about that.

Thank you!

How is your experience with a slave server?
Do things work?
Feedback appreciated.

Thanks for following up, I'm just getting started with testing, looking to replace something less all inclusive.
