Title: Sending emails from a different domain SPF
Post by: LotsOfQ on 2016-07-22, 10:54:41
I basically have abc.com and def.com on the same server. I have an email script that I want to send emails out from abc.com even for def.com. But I keep on getting it in the spam or junk box or even nothing show for gmail.com, aol.com, hotmail.com and so on.

Well, I dig in for more info and found out that it has to do with the SPF. Which I know nothing about.

I have enabled all the options in "Email Auth" already. I don't know about:
Additional Include For SPF (one Per Line)
Additional Redirect For SPF (one Per Line)
Additional Domain For SPF (one Per Line)

Can someone give me advice what to do?

Go to 'admin > all > domains > select one > email auth > enable spf and dmarc'.

Go to 'admin > all > domains > select one > email auth > enable spf and dmarc'.

I have done that, spf and dmarc are enabled already. But it's still go to junk box or spam box.

Can you explain these?
Additional Include For SPF (one Per Line)
Additional Redirect For SPF (one Per Line)
Additional Domain For SPF (one Per Line)

1. If using googleapps as mail server, you need '_spf.google.com' in 'Additional Include For SPF (one Per Line)'
2. if using zoho.com as mail server, you need 'zoho.com' in 'Additional Include For SPF (one Per Line)'
