Title: Optimizing KloxoMR 7
Post by: teodorsavic on 2015-04-01, 19:08:16
Hi,
I have a running server with CentOS 6.6 and Kloxo-MR 7.0.0.b-2015032901. I've read through the forum and I fount this topic: http://forum.mratwork.com/kloxo-mr-tips-and-tricks/kloxomr-optimize/
where you gave these instructions:
1. Select 'optimize' for 'apache optimize' in 'webserver config'
2. Install mod-pagespeed with 'yum install mod-pagespeed-stable'
3. install apc with 'yum install php54-pecl-apc'
4. install cache plugins in website applications (like hypercache in wordpress)
5. Run 'sh /script/fixweb; sh /script/restart web'
but I suppose they are referring to KloxoMR 6 .
Are the steps still the same for KloxoMR 7? Is there anything else that could be done?
Thank you very much!
Best regards!

In Kloxo-MR 7.0, 'optimize' in 'apache optimize' change to 'low', 'medium' and 'high'. In most case, 'medium' is enough.

When update to anyone of the options like example "medium" and click update, does it suppose to remain as "medium" or just goes back to "No Change"?

Apache Memory Optimize
MySQL Convert
MySQL Charset
Fix 'ownership' And 'permissions'

All 4 of these whenever I clicked update they all go back to "No Change".

Are you saying that it suppose to stay at whatever I've selected ex. "medium" click update then it should stay at "medium" and not go back to "No change"?

No, still back to 'no change'. No planning to change this behaviour. If you select 'medium' and then KLoxo-MR process this options but menu still back to 'no change'.

Thank you for clarifying that.
