4. Reject Servers With Names RDNS Not Resolving To IP?

no results .. either email or fixed domains escaped into the inbox.

I tried the method to divert the spam filter and the spam folder, followed by Trening spam .. and I think this worked.

Thanks for the instructions that have been given.

Hi,
no results .. either email or fixed domains escaped into the inbox.

In that case, you have configured to receive all emails in catch-all under Mail home of that client.

If you set the catch-all to delete, then the emails will get deleted and not diverted to an Inbox.

Such a configuration, what you have, can be really troublesome.

If the spams arrive through spamdyke, then you did not configure spamdyke properly. You should read instructions in this forum on how to configure it.

Also make sure to update the spamdyke to version 5, the latest, and make changes in spamdyke.conf.

Then, the spams will stop. This will 100% work to stop spam emails 99%!

Very easy trick that works !

/var/qmail/control/badhelo

add domain like this:

.somespamersdomain\.com

and that's it !

Hi Spacedust,

Good suggestion.

If one wants to use qmail for this purpose, then one could also enter an email address (without < or >) in badmailfrom or badmailto in the control files under /var/qmail/control.

Many times I observed that spamdyke failed, although I had the email address in sender's black list. The blocked email came through.

I could stop it only after I entered spammer's email address in badmailfrom. This worked 100%.

Please check headers of such mails. Maybe they use different badhelo. Qmail restart is not needed.
