Mustafa has put a lot of work into KloxoMR and here you all are re-branding his work. I for one will not be using a knock off of KloxoMR, you should all be ashamed of yourselves. You are like a bunch of girls bitching and moaning, only looking out for yourselves. RATS the lot of you.

I have been patiently waiting but it doesn't look good from here. I am moving on.

Very quite here. How's things going? Your Kloxo running ok?

I'm in my last fortnight of chemotherapy, then I'm free to get back to work.

I intend to resume work on the Next Generation version of Kloxo.

I notice some people are critical of the NG project. Kloxo-MR was built upon the original Kloxo/Lxadmin developed by the late K.T. Ligesh. Mustafa has done a great job upgrading Kloxo, however note that Kloxo uses the AGPL licence. That makes it free to anyone to fork or modify the code. This is very much in the spirit of Open Source software development. In particular it provides protection for users if the developer becomes unavailable or stops supporting the project.

I have latest Kloxo-MR running on 2 Centos-7 VPSs, and it has in general been working quite well the last year although I am a complete newbie. Most of my issues I have found answer to in the forum. Even webmail that I read many had issues with, has worked ok for me. However, I have not got the cache systems to work with my setup, so my VPSs are running without active cache, but still speed is ok.
I have donated a couple of times and also asked questions, but as you know MR has not been active in the forum since september last year, - so my issues are still open. One of them is the THT script which is not working.
I have resently considered to switch to another CP, but if Kloxo-NG is progressing I will stick to it as I have spent so much time to learn to use it, and I like it.

I've been using kloxomr since the initial release, I think the KloxoMR code still relevant with the last updated software. I am observe when updating my vps 3rd party software like mariadb or nginx, I found that most error happen because of the options has changed to the new variable or maybe that option no longer available, so you need to check your broken software config file and fix that, you need to read the installed version "change log" and "what's new" notes.
the way most works when you got an error after update (httpd/nginx/mariadb/etc)
1. remove or rename the old config file in /etc/(httpd/nginx/mariadb/etc)
2. yum reinstall (httpd/nginx/mariadb/etc)
3. sh /script/(fixweb/fixmysql/fixmail/etc)
4. sh /script/restart-all
5. if it doesn't work, you need to find which is the obsolete option then comment-out.

nb:
I try another web hosting panel and always go back. KloxoMR is complete solution, tweak able and easy to understand the config/template structure.

good luck

Hi, we have repackaged the last Kloxo-MR release as Kloxong-0.1.2-beta . This is a complete rebuild of Kloxo-MR rpm files. This was done on Fedora's copr system (https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/kloxong/kloxong/package/kloxong/) to allow us to automate future builds.

As copr is a chroot build environment it has also meant that we have had to clean up many of the source files and ensure that all package dependencies are satisfied.

The purpose of the Next Generation project is to provide an open collaborative pathway for future Kloxo releases.

The first release is built as a 100% clone of the existing Kloxo-MR. This is the starting point for future bug fixes and feature updates. The beta version is for testing only and should not be installed on a production server.

If you are interested in testing please read https://kloxong.org/forums/topic/kloxong-0-1-2-beta/ or visit our Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/KloxoNextGeneration/
