The problem with httpd
« on: 2014-06-29, 22:50:17 »
Hi,

I have installed Kloxo-MR at dedicated server. I have a problem when I want to restarting 'httpd'.
When I restart httpd I get the following error (please see pic.):

httpd.event: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qua
lified domain name, using localhost.localdomain for ServerName

Pic:

Does anyone know how to fix this error ?

Regards

You must set your hostname (in VPS panel) with FQDN (example: use 'server1.domain.com' instead 'server1') and then reboot your VPS.

After that, better run 'sh /script/cleanup'.

I do not own VPS , I own dedicated server. On dedicated server I have just installed Kloxo-MR and nothing more.

SO, just modified content of '/etc/sysconfig/network' file and then reboot.

Do I need first change that part and then install Apache (Kloxo-MR) or ?

No need reinstall Apache. Just running 'sh /script/fixweb; sh /script/restart-web'.
