mysql can't start

i have a problem with mysql server on server and i don't know what happend or how to fix it .

mysql database is dropped

Your question is wrong.

Service mysql will not start because you asked but because it has problem mentioned in the begining of this thread.

See:

/usr/lib/mysql /usr/lib64/mysql

The problem occurs using unix or domain socket. Either kill it or new start the server.

The reason of Kloxo-MR using mysql 5.5 because until this time don't know why mysql 5.1 not able to start/restart. Sadly, centalt remove their mysql 5.5 in centos 6 and php52s still compile under mysql 5.5.

Need recompile php52s with dependencies to mysql55 (from IUS) rather than mysql 5.5 (from CentAlt).

Your mysql is crash. It's not related to Kloxo-MR itself but mysql only.

Try read http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/crashing.html to know about mysql crash. Also, inform here your 'cat /etc/my.cnf'.
