KloxoMR only Core Backup. Is it possible?

I'm thinking.. Is there a way to backup only the KloxoMR without the domains. So e.g. if you notice anything suspicious, you just restore the KloxoMR core to a date when everything worked fine without affecting users, domains and websites.
As I understand it now, this hierarchical backup process doesn't enable you to backup and restore only KloxoMR without all the users and domains under it.. Or am I wrong?
