Title: Kloxo 7 and DKIM
Post by: didge on 2014-10-17, 10:54:04
I understand that the DKIM signing issue is a matter for qmailtoaster. Has anybody got a set of instructions for getting this working with Kloxo-MR version 7? Thanks.

I was referring to previous postings about DKIM not being a Kloxo MR problem. I can't get DKIM signing on outgoing mail using Kloxo MR ver 7.

Kloxo-MR 6.5.0 and 7.0.0 have DKIM implementing identically.

Maybe I need to do a completely fresh install. I have tried everything!
The Port25 Solutions, Inc. team

==========================================================
Summary of Results
==========================================================
SPF check:          pass
DomainKeys check:   neutral
DKIM check:         neutral
Sender-ID check:    pass
SpamAssassin check: ham

I also had to put the SPF and TXT records into the main DNS control for the domain for it to work. Domain name in Server Mail Settings for localhost has rDNS.

Make sure in Admin->Mail Settings you have a check by 'Enable Domainkeys'.

I just tested and on new domai n creation TXT record for domain keys is added to DNS automatically, you said yours does not add it?

The problem with trying to find this problem is it could be dns settings are wrong, it could be rDns for the mailserver, it could be many things.  Since the problems with DKIM have long been solved, it is hard to help.

I think the problems are with DNS. Many thanks for your time.

Save me trawling, what would be the commands to completely wipe my current installation/settings and re-install afresh?

Update your Kloxo-MR with 'yum clean all; yum update' and then run 'sh /script/cleanup'.

Thanks very much but that still leaves all the data from before. I need to do a completely fresh install.

Update:
I have 2 domains on the kloxo 7 VPS and am using my control panel at futurehosting.com for the DNS  management having turned DNS to none in "switch program".

One of the domains gives me for my mail check:
DomainKeys check:   pass
DKIM check:         pass

The other gives me "neutral" as being unsigned for those values. I ran both domains through intoDNS and nothing is out of place, both giving the same error free results. I also checked the dkim and both return as valid DKIM key records. MXtoolbox results are perfect. What I am trying to say that is the DNS records are correct yet I get this disparity with Email signing. Yes, SPF is enabled as these both pass and Use domainkeys is ticked.

I did upgrade this from 6.5 a while back with the domain whose mail is not getting signed.

Any clues as to where to look? Maybe there is a deprecated field in the database?

Many thanks for your time.

Check my mratwork.com and then compare to your domain.

So, what's a problem is?.
Title: Re: Kloxo 7 and DKIM
Post by: didge on 2014-10-21, 13:26:16
Simply. Mail from domain1 gets sent perfectly, signed with DKIM etc and mail sent from domain2 doesn't get signed!

I did ask how to completely wipe the current setup to start again as 'yum clean all; yum update' and then run 'sh /script/cleanup' keeps all the previous settings in the database.

Cheers

Every domain already set 'enable SPF' in panel?.

I completely wiped and re-installed KloxoMR and am running 7.0.0.b-2014102102. The DKIM issue is now resolved. Thanks for the attempts to help me.
