Kloxo 32 bits to 64 bits
« on: 2016-08-05, 03:16:56 »
Hello I got a server of centos 5x with kloxo and I want to know if I can upgrade my kloxo from 32 bits to 64 without harming the functionality of my kloxo panel and my server html area files?

And now you went and disfigured all kloxo installation rpms so if we keep on using 32 bits it will be harder than hard ,now the question is if I upgrade to your new MR will it be a working panel, many issues all is diferent with RAMADAN truly loves to recapture and re invent himself my god

How do upgrade to MR From old 32 bits, whith this?
cd /script
y despues:
./upcp
What precations should I take,is it worth the risk, will it be 64 bit?

Upgrade with:
1. Backup data using 'backup/restore' feature under 'admin' to other server via ftp
2. Or download backup file via 'download' from '/home/kloxo/client/admin/__backup' to your local pc
3. Reinstall OS with Centos 6 64bit and install Kloxo-MR 7.0
4. Copy back backup data to '/home/kloxo/client/admin/__backup'
5. Restore data using 'backup/restore' feature

Do you mean first MR works at 64,so MR can restore files from old 32 bit kloxo? without harm?

Well first thanks for the backup thing instance but my main concern it was weather or not my 32 bit stuff would work well on MR
And does this work,funciona?
cd /script
./upcp

64bit run faster than 32bit but using higher RAM (around 15%). If you have more than 512MB RAM, better using 64bit.

I could install Kloxo MR successfully I even got the apache message that the server was well configured and I just needed to upload files,so I went to restore backup but it didnt work without restoring admin,so I went to restore admin as well and I got 500 error
and I figured out it was php or something relating with permissions,I also got this
php54-common-5.4.45-1.ius.el5.i386 from installed has depsolving problem
bash: php54-common-5.4.45-1.ius.el5.i386: command not found
php54-cli-5.4.45-1.ius.el5.i386 from installed has depsolving problems
--> php54 conflicts with php
bash: php54-cli-5.4.45-1.ius.el5.i386: command not found
Error: php54-common conflicts with php-common
Error: php54-common conflicts with php-common
Error: php54 conflicts with php
Error 500 - Internal Server Error

A generic error message, given when no more specific message is suitable

I am wearing CentOS 5.11 and dont want to think that it is that the os I had when backing up was centos 5.5 so still I dont want to upgrade the os version and Im trying stuff like
yum clean all and other stuff before I go to that please if there is something you can do to help it will be gracefully appreciated

It's about conflict between php packages. Inform here 'dir -l /etc/yum.repos.d'.

Yes is php problem maybe due to the fact that old kloxo wore php5 ,is there something I should do on that file to solve this?,or do I just use as a command to give you output?

However heres output of that command you provided in a lovely way

Rename epel.repo to epel.nonrepo, epel-testing.repo to epel-testing.nonrepo and remi.repo to remi.nonrepo. And then 'yum clean all; yum update'.

Try 'yum replace php --replace-with=php54'. It's because your server using php instead php54.

Hey does this php-fpm thing mean kloxo dont use apache anymore and use ngix instead look here is the guide I used to install kloxoMR
I guess
http://www.servermom.org/install-kloxo-mr-centos-vps/

Hey Ramadan is there a way to get an installation download to old kloxo ,why was it removed the download link?

Thank you plenty
