Title: Interested in trying Kloxo-RM. I have a few questions.
Post by: frogster on 2013-04-16, 22:34:07
Hello

I am interested in trying your Kloxo-RM but first I have a few questions.

1.) I have tried the origional kloxo and one of the problems with that version was the fact I was unable to backup and rotate individual access logs for each of my domains that I added to my kloxo control panel. I did ask in the forums a number of times but I got no response to my question with regards to backing up and rotating 'raw access logs'. I would like to know please can kloxo-rm do this a little like what you can do in cpanel with there 'access log' backup feature?

2.) How well does kloxo-rm work with modsecurity?

3.) Does kolxo-rm have a backup feature where you can backup all databases and files and reinstall them with one click? Also can this be done with a remote host like dropbox etc?

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

1. Kloxo-MR also no backup for logs but you can make cron to this purpose
2. Kloxo-MR use template-based configs and it's make possible modified configs without change Kloxo-MR code. Not to hard to add mod_security
3. Backup and restore as the same as Kloxo but some issues already fixed (like famous 'could_not_zip_dir'). Kloxo-MR have 'backup-patch' script where this script copy to and run on Kloxo to fix some issues before backup on Kloxo
