I shot the screen before and after extracted zip files.

Inside this backup zip file, 683,062 KB consisted of 2 domains.

The extracted zip files 661,949 KB which included 2 domains databases.

My question is. How do we restore one single domain inside that 683,062 KB?

Additional info: I built domains only on admin ( Not clients or reseller )

What I would do is extract the back for the domain you wish to restore, create a new account with the same name, login to the account in Kloxo, and restore the backup to the new account through Kloxo backup and restore

To my understanding, what you meant was extracted further the zip files 661,949 KB, then, re-zipped the targeted domain file (from this extracted files) and upload for restoration.

You said, make a new account with the same name(same domain name), right? I have a question for this. And that of my question is, do I have to create mysql databases also? Or databases for the targeted domain will be automatically created during the restore process?

On kloxomr panel, there is no such button " restore now" or did I miss it some where?
Afaik, one has to upload the file and checked the file name by clicking the small yellow sign at the same row as "Backup From File * "...

Sorry I mean 'Start restore process' in 'backup home' ('backup/restore' in 6.5.1).

Feedback:

1) I could not upload a file which is in this size - backup zip file, 683,062 KB on KloxoMR backup home.
I just tried it, an error occurred which resulted I have to restart my VPS?

2) How to upload through FTP? Is it upload to root folder or domain public_html?

Quote
You can upload directly or from an http url or an ftp server. Then come here, and click on directory icon on the right in the restore form, and it will allow you to select the particular file. Then click on start restore process .

Another question is, what does the FTP direction looks like?
ftp.domain.com/...
/ipaddress...

What should I put in the backup from file?

Please advice..

Kloxo backup is cool!
Please note that kloxo backup is heirarchical. If you take backup of a particular resource, everything under it is automatically included. Thus if you take backup of admin, then you need not take backups of clients under you separately.

Before that, I have backup Kloxomr on another VPS. However, that top VPS provider has more complicated for this backup process.

Then, I forced second backup, it backup all the mysql databases.

Just now, I uploaded the backup file which is over 91,381,500 successfully to another VPS.

From the above, it let me select which database plus domain for the restore.
This is brilliant!

At last but not the least, I hope someone can guide how to do telnet slave-id 7779
Thank you

For 'telnet slave-id 7779' usually resolved with 'sh /script/restart' (that mean restart KLoxo-MR itself).

Yes, I run:
yum clean all;
yum update

Then;
sh /script/restart

I am going to do backup again to see whether it is a full backup this time.

Download takes forever to load. And also, where does it downloaded to?

Is there any way for downloading the backup file rather than on panel?
Or what command for downloading this through ssh?

Why backup capacity can be different? I didn't do anything such as to add content on any domains.

The first backup is 1,352,221
The second backup is 2.519G

Before the 3rd backup, I modified FTP configuration in the old VPS backup home.
I changed the old VPS to new VPS ( IP address + username+ Password from new VPS).

The backup file on the old VPS shown 5.149G.
I checked on the new VPS - nothing showing.

Here is about how I config the FTP at backup home:

When I tried to upload, I received message - " The Connection Was Reset ".

When I login to KloxoMr, it said - " No Data Received "

But nevermind .... I restart the VPS and it is back to normal.

Hence, how to do a restore if we are unable to upload big files.

From SSH, I run: ( Bear in mind this is on old VPS server )
Code: [Select]
[root@hostname ~]# cd /home/kloxo/client/admin/__backup/
[root@hostname __backup]# dir
kloxo-scheduled-6.5-admin-2014-Feb-13-1392287634.tgz
kloxo-scheduled-6.5-admin-2014-Feb-13-1392313369.tgz

 Please advice...

I left the backup as it will run at the background.
Today, I am trying to restore one of my WordPress using backupbuddy but it timed out.
Then, I went to SSH and run update and found...

Another app is currently holding the yum lock; waiting for it to exit…currently-holding-the-yum-lock-waiting-for-it-to-exit/ Final solution if you fail to stop the process :
#rm -f /var/run/yum.pid 2851

However, I managed to solve this out. It is pretty simple.

I put all info with no stone left behind so that you could well receive all that is related.
