If anything happens with Mustafa (MRatWork) I think it came to an end Kloxo-MR.  :( :'(
I hope everything is okay with Mustafa.  :-\

Yeah, this project solely depends on Mustafa.
I hope he is just too busy with other stuff and will get back to Kloxo-MR later.
But i've never seen him being so "quite" for so long time here in the forum and that's concerning us a lot.

Let's hope for the best.

Last commit is from 12.09.2017  https://github.com/mustafaramadhan/kloxo/commit/88eeec1c26ab434e774cac7875c982da0b6970da so in a week or so it's 1 month since last commit.

Unfortunately, this is the consequence of relying on one mans work. Mustafa has put down an enormous work to bring us this awesome web panel, but at the same time, such thing can happen since this is not developed as a community.

In other projects, community has fork the work of Mustafa and further work on it if anyone is brave enough and has the right skills (PHP/JS/CentOS).

The only alternative IMHO today to Kloxo-MR is VestaCP, but it's severely limited by features and functionality.
Kloxo-MR simply rocks as it's a complete web hosting panel.

Would be sad if i and others are forced to jump over to an alternative if this project comes to an end.

Still not replying to my e-mails. Probably some health issue but at least he is alive.

Hope he is well, I see that hostspectra domain is also not active.

@mustafa get well soon  :)

Unfortunately, I see Kloxo-MR as a dead project. It's time to switch to another web panel.
R.I.P Kloxo-MR  :'(

hostspectra.com is offline, 'Kloxo-MR v7' can not be installed because of '[Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.', Mustafa does not respond to messages plenty of time. The question is when this forum will be removed.  For smart people this is enough, Kloxo-MR is the dead (it is difficult for me to write this, but it is true).  :'(

It's time for another web panel (unfortunately).

Well, that's definitely sad.  :'(
So much  that i've cared about Kloxo-MR and used it in production on our servers too.

Definitely odd.

I'd suggest anyone who wishes to keep using Kloxo-MR make a fork from Github and download a copy of the rpm repo (http://rpms.mratwork.com/repo/mratwork/) while you can.

That will ensure at least that the Kloxo-MR code and source/build files for the mr rpms are not lost if Mustafa never returns.

Very very good suggestion. Didn't even know about the RPM repo although i forked a while ago.

@johnppierce
You did a good job, even when you leave a web link 'how to install kloxo-mr' it would be great. Also where to get a copy of the forum online (web link) if you can leave it here.

Tomorrow this forum can be shut down (same as hostspectra.com) and you will only have Kloko-MR. While it's still time leave us your web link.

I'll put up a link when I finish ripping.

I've made a facebook group for anyone who wishing to keep Kloxo alive

https://www.facebook.com/groups/KloxoMRusers (https://www.facebook.com/groups/KloxoMRusers)

I suggest joining the group as a point of contact if the forum dies.

Looks like 3 of the 5 rpm repositories are down:

http://rpms.mratwork.com/repo/ - up
http://rpms.printographic.com/repo/ - down
http://rpms.potissima.com/repo/ - up
http://rpms.armando.id/repo/ - down
http://rpms.mustafa.id/repo/ - down

Successfully did a clean install of version 7 to Centos 6 so things aren't completely broken yet.

Did you fresh install Kloxo-MR v7? I have tried two times last night and did not succeed.
The problem was repositores.

Does it fail to install, or does it install and not work properly?

I had some repository errors but the installer seemed to eventually find a working repo.

I use Mustafa's instructions to test if they were still correct
Code: [Select]
        # move to /tmp
        cd /tmp

        # remove old rpm
        rm -f mratwork*

        # install rpm (read Warning)
        rpm -ivh https://github.com/mustafaramadhan/rpms/raw/master/mratwork/release/neutral/noarch/mratwork-release-0.0.1-1.noarch.rpm

        # move to /
        cd /

        # update
        yum clean all

        yum update mratwork-* -y

        yum install kloxomr7 -y

        sh /script/upcp

Looks like MRatWork was logged in again yesterday. No idea if this was actually Mustafa or someone else using his login. Odd that there was no updated made on his health status.

Apparently is installed but still not.

it isn't the issue with the varnish repo? If so try
Code: [Select]
yum clean all; yum update -y --disablerepo=*varnish*
sh /script/cleanup

Need to know more about your install.

run
Code: [Select]
sh /script/sysinfo
and post the result to a new topic

When I go to install Kloxo-MR v7 i get this:
Code: [Select]
failure: repodata / repomd.xml from mratwork-varnish-3.0: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
http://repo.varnish-cache.org/redhat/varnish-3.0/el7/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 410 -

The varnish repo has moved. You must have an old copy of the Yum configuration. You need the latest copy of mratwork-release.

Code: [Select]
wget https://github.com/mustafaramadhan/rpms/raw/master/mratwork/release/neutral/noarch/mratwork-release-0.1.0-8.noarch.rpm
rpm -Uvh mratwork-release-0.1.0-8.noarch.rpm

then run
Code: [Select]
yum clean all

yum install kloxomr7 -y

sh /script/upcp

Seems that on Sep 12th Mustafa announced the end of ver 7.0 and the beginning of ver 7.5

Quote
Kloxo-MR 7.0 will be final release immediately. After that, will be release to version 7.5 with new features like real 'multiple webservers' (think like 'multiple php' where each domain use different php version)

Makes me wonder if he is off working on 7.5 - however that doesn't explain the lack of communication or support.

Personally I think this is a dead project. Everyone has 2 minutes to write something, especially when the action is a personal project. If he reads our messages and does not answer (it's only 2 min.) means he does not care about this.

I find it hard to believe that a person who has devoted so much time (many years) and energy to develop this excellent control panel, and have produced more than 15000 postings to this forum, just does not care any more. There must be another explanation.  But I am very glad that an initiative is on its way to carry this excellent project further. I can see that master Mustafa's account has been visited several times lately, and hopefully he is strong enough to post some words soon. We are many waiting for a sign from him.

I try too, I think "http://rpms.mratwork.com/repo/" have anti DDoS, so we cannot rip forum content too, we must use proxy list !
