I know this does not relate directly to the MR release but to kloxo in general. My weekly backups are failing to upload to remote server. Is there a log that tells me what is going on. In the email I get it just says cant upload file.

As I know, no special log for backup. For remote backup, look inside ftp log.

Have you try:

1. Setup remote ftp backup
2. Try "Backup Now" and see the effect

Ok I have been watching it for a few weeks. Kloxo makes the backup. It then makes the ftp connection. Looks like its logging in trying to make the upload dir which fails, then changes to the dir, and then exits.

Dont matter if it is a scheduled or manual backup. Both does the same.

here is my ftp log (I changed the ip & username)

Right now I am getting around it by doing a weekly backup on sunday, and then monday night using rsync to sync the backup dir to the kloxo backup dir .

But if I ftp to it manually using the same info it works just fine.

But at least its working the way Iam doing it now.

I found on my system (latest kloxo-MR) pure-ftpd also not work.

But, after running 'service xinetd restart' this app running well for remote-backup.
