plase noticed

in backup prosess in old server , if you have problem in volume of /tmp dir ,
you havent corect backup client for transfer
in fact , you try to restore Incomplete backup in new server

i hope you understand my notice
How can i know if i have problem with /tmp?
And why, if i have, kloxo dont give error message?

because this is not realted to kloxo-mr
if you try get a backup larg volume site  in any  of control panels  , they are show the same behavior

for  quick solution this problem

1- go to old server and check  /etc/fstab  for  /tmp size
better , you dellete this row from /fstab
after reboot  , then go to /tmp and delete all Additional file and then try to backup

2- make a same condition in new server and restor backup file

for basic solution
try to mounted /tmp dir  and format this dir to larger volume ( 4 GB is good for me  )

with this notice ,   i hope you want transfer all site in to new server

How can be explained this: Same backup file (over 4gb), sometimes restore failed sometimes not. And never if more users are selected. temp > 8g now

Restore will be unzip file to /tmp. So we need space zip file, temp files and real extract files.

Certain server make a quota for /tmp.

How can be explained this: Same backup file (over 4gb), sometimes restore failed sometimes not. And never if more users are selected. temp > 8g now

please Notice :  any backup or restore command  for larg file eat many Resources of server

while you try for restore backup file with 4 gig volume , server go to high load
and if your server Resources under load for httpd or mysql user at this time ,
your cpu load go to high and many task are waited and ram full
in this condition some of script (php and perl as root script) faild & stop  because they have low IO priority face to basic services ( httpd or mysql ) and you got  error for those scripts

and if you select more user for restore or backup  at once, your command eat all server Resources and  .....

if you want short answer for this condition
better explain :  your server weak for those data (some site with 4 gig backup file) and load

Any advice depended to your server  Specifications and your condition

I dont underestand your problem and i dont  know you have what server (or vps )

in first post you wrote both of old and new server (or vps) have a 2 Gb ram  and in next post you wrote have a backup file over 4 Gb

Moving all data from KloxoMR@Centos5.9 to KloxoMR@Centos6.4.
I have done this at least 4 times, but never with different OS so i guess that is problem. These are steps:
    1. backup reseller account on old server
    2. make same acount on new server
    3. transfer backup file to correct place (/home/kloxo/client/USERNAME/__backup)
    4. start restore on new server: step 1 and 2 (selecting and confirming) are ok, but when final step run it just extract all to /temp and stops
Like i seed this is done correctly in past so there is something wrong with backup/restore in new KloxoMR or something about OS.

Anay way

If you have a problem in restore or backup  for big volume of backup file and if you want solve it , you can doing these advice

1- if you have a normal or weak vps , you shoud set /tmp dir volume  at least 3X of bigger backup file and you shoud not restore for big backup file , Together

2- if you have a very power server Specifications (i7 cpu and 16 Gig ram) and you will restore all big backup file Together at once , you shoud set /tmp dir volume at least  3x of  total volume of all backup file

for calculate volume of flle and set  /tmp dir  , please condisered this advice too

good luck
