need monitoring my server

Hi
im running some crawler on my server , i have 6gb ram and 2 core cpu , and always half of them is useless

but im getting too many connection error , or mysql gone away error
i think it must be because of IO rate of my VPS that is not using SSD

so i need to monitor my server , seems Nagios is a great monitoring tools , can i install this beside of Kloxo MR on my server ?

Need mysql optimize. Install mysqltuner with 'yum install mysqltuner -y' and then run with 'mysqltuner --user root --pass ROOTPASS' (find our mysql root password in '/usr/local/lxlabs/kloxo/etc/slavedb/dbadmin').

i used phpmyadmin server stat for monitoring server , its work , and also iotop for monitoring IO

now , i want to monitor my php script , so i need install Xhprof but its need php-devel

i set the server php to version 5.3 , then yum install php-devel , but i get
