I am sure I am not alone in this.
We installed Kloxo before Liguesh commit suicide for vulnerabilities into his software. And to this day we have to use it because we have 250+ domains including many users, resellers on the system. So we have to use patches, unstable ones at that to keep working with this system.
We thank you with the kind of development you guys do for Kloxo, but what we really need is a GOOD export/import script for another stable Control Panel like Virtualmin and/or ISP Config.
Virtualmin already has one but it only imports one user and no resellers, etc so it's not usable to import what we have as backup file.
Once you have created a PERFECT import/export script for another platform, then you could continue to hack into the Kloxo code to kind of update it like you do right now.
That's my saying, I hope many will agree!
Thanks

If you want export Kloxo data to other panel, you must ask to them. Not here.
The big issue for import/export, we must know how their work.
-
Yes, but they don't care.
You, you care because you build next Kloxo.. if you care about kloxo customers really, build a good export script for now so you have less pressure?
-
Maybe be on next release already have convert cpanel-to-kloxomr, directadmin-to-kloxomr and etc. But, not otherwise.

What is so funny to you? You posted same thing on lxcenter forums and you got god answers...
-
So funny is keeping people hostages to unstable control panel and creating import script from stable control panels to unstable one.

Hello,
AFAIK, for export to another panel that's not our "kloxo" job. That's job yours or another panel.
Before you make a thread you must think first, I had example cPanel, cPanel doesn't had script export to another panel. Them just make import script to cPanel.
If you said kloxo-mr unstable, that's your fool. I had many users like kloxo. And I use kloxo for long term.
Also my customer, ask me to manage them servers to install and optimize kloxo and server.
For your security if your server got hacked that's your wrong. Not control panel.
Kloxo run as "admin" to manage account, not "root" so for security reason kloxo I first :)

and another solution to export your control panel. if you had good skill with linux you just create archive folder and mack backup of your mysql data
or another, you may use cPanel maybe them have script to import your data
but if still want use ISPconfig you may had good skill on linux
if you didnt had linux skill you can try search on google.com thats perfect tutorial

I would never ever even touch cPanel, but indeed some functions works much better than in Kloxo.
You can check which script is using resources, you've got realtime quotas etc. ;)

yes i have experience with cPanel. thats just expensive control panel with poor support
paid but didnt get support :D

I wonder why 99% of USA hosts is using this crap :/
-
cPanel is just stable, you know that simple everyday tasks will not brake your server... With Kloxo-MR i am never sure... But these two cant be compared directly, not same class...
-
I actually disagree. I think kloxo IS comparable to cpanel. Even more so, do you have any idea how hard it would be to maintain the ongoing support of a project by yourself?
And ISPConfig would be a nightmare for end user clients.
Yes, there are bugs in Kloxo - somethings just don't work right - sometimes hiccups occur and you have to fix things - but it is open source, and free. Mustafa deserves GREAT credit for his accomplishments thus far.
I would suggest a more open way for outside programmers to help - I understand the need for help in an opensource project and have been involved in a few - some for many years.
So, Mustafa - THANK YOU. If you need help with PHP in any way I am available.
