Why kloxo use old php 5.2 in lxphp? Kloxo should always get current php binary in the same way as domains directory.

It is due to the coding of kloxo core, which KloxoMR uses.  It is currently incompatible with anything higher than 5.2.  I agree however, an overhaul of the core code to bring it up to date would be great.

I think it would be a big project.

PHP 5.3 at least :/ We can't have phpMyAdmin newer than 4.0.9 because newer version does not support PHP 5.2 ! This will be huge security issue in future.

Mustafa: what do you think about running the core on PHP 5.2 which isn't maintained anymore? This could raise security concern for the hosters and bring really bad PR for Kloxo-MR.

Php 5.2 is not maintain by Php itself but many patch related to security bugs from thirdparty sources and Kloxo-MR always update related to it.

I agree, I think core should be brought up to atleast 5.3 - I mean, how outdated is kloxo core that it couldn't be worked to use 5.3?
