I tried it, it didn't appear to work, but then it redirected to disable page.  It took about 10 minutes after I clicked the disable icon.

I bet if I would have restart-all it would have been sooner.

Can you confirm spacedust?

Yes. It's very slow now. Even restarting httpd doesn't help.
