Configure Varnish for wordpress sites.

I enabled Varnish and works fine on html websites, I check it using this site http://www.isvarnishworking.com/ . But if I try wordpress sites I get this response when test if Varnish works:

This may be intentional, but if you want Varnish to cache this url you'll have to fix the max-age value the application is sending to Varnish.

Well, after 3 tests in a row on http://www.isvarnishworking.com/ it looks like Varnish is confirmed 'Yes' and no extra change need it. So, it does not need any changes for wordpress sites  ?
