One of my customer is unable to receive e-mails because of such error:

It exists:

Sending works without any problems. Logging in is also fine.

No .qmail and .maildroprc file inside?.

It exists in Maildir:

Our customer has been removed due to unpaid invoices.

Then he paid again, we've created blank account but he restored his account from backup.

This caused all mail directories to have old user ID.

The fix was simple just change ID to the old one in /etc/passwd and /etc/group.

Please check if backups are restoring proper user ID's !

Correct - it was there. There reason was only wrong user ID (proper name, but new ID number).
