Maillog disappears

Hi,
my /var/log/maillog disappears and i have to do a 'touch /var/log/maillog' in order to get loggin back.
I'm using syslog-ng with CentOS.
Any idea what's going on here?
I'm loosing using valuable logging.

I normally just restart rsyslogd and it's back ;)
