idle-timeout=180 is way too high

I've lowered this to 90 seconds. There are customers abusing this !

Possible yes. So, use 'custom rule' for config.

Agreed, 180 is high.  90 is more reasonable.

Agreed, 180 is high.  90 is more reasonable.

I've set 180 inside php.ini so customers won't complain about anything ;)
